Draper & Maynard Sporting Goods Company
Draper & Maynard Sporting Goods Company was orginially a glove factory in Ashland, NH before they expanded to other sporting goods and moved their building to Plymouth, NH. Founded by John F. Draper and John F Maynard in the 1890s, the Draper & Maynard Sporting Goods Company specialized in producing the padded baseball glove, as well as other sporting equipment. Many professional baseball players used D&M products, including the great Babe Ruth. The building that housed the Draper & Maynard factory is now apart of Plymouth State University's campus.
